Synopsis

At the academy, Aris occupies the bottom rung, a servant whose existence comes with a mark nobody can explain: his blood makes every dragon recoil in fear. It is treated as a curse, one more reason to keep him scrubbing floors while the privileged train above him. Then a single drop of that cursed blood lands on a legendary dragon egg that no one has been able to hatch, and the egg answers. Overnight, the servant everyone ignored becomes the most dangerous open question in the world.
