Synopsis

Dragon King Asher is running out of time. An ancient curse tied to his bloodline can only be broken one way: by claiming his fated partner. When Alina is betrayed by her own stepmother and handed over to the Dragon Clan as a sacrifice, she is taken to Dragonstone and forced into a marriage she never chose. The problem is that humans and dragons were never meant to bond, and the act that would end Asher's curse would kill Alina in the process. As the two of them live inside this impossible arrangement, something shifts. Asher begins choosing Alina over his own survival, and Alina begins choosing him over the freedom she keeps reaching for. The series runs the tension between those two choices across all 41 episodes without letting either character off the hook.
